The United
Pet Pig Registry is a non-profit organization formed for the pet pig owner.
The United
Pet Pig Registry is unique in that ALL Pet Pigs are welcome to
join. Your
pet does not have to be a miniature pig nor any particular breed of pig.
It is not
necessary that your pig have proof of lineage "papers" etc.
The main
criteria for joining our Registry is that your pig be, first and foremost,
a pet and that it is not to be used for breeding purpose's.
The Registry's
goal is to help the pet-pig owner throughout the life of their companion
pet. To know and understand the nature of the pet-pig and to help people
enjoy this unique pet.
As an organization
formed for the pet-pig, we differ from the other national organizations
in that we feel that the pet pig should not be a breeding animal.
The United
Pet Pig Registry's only concern is the welfare of the pet pig as companion
pets and the people who love them.
